Flashback.

From tomorrow onwards, we'll have to buckle up. When school reopens next Monday, I don't have to go! Awesome, isn't it? :P I've had many ups and downs, highs and lows this year..but hey, I'm stil here. =) I'm looking forward to what 2009 has in store for me, hopefully I don't waste too much time and that I'll start college soon or after SPM results are out (no rush though XP). Driving! Goodness, my mom keeps reminding me, asking me to go for lessons quickly. I'm in no hurry to drive, honestly.

So here's a look at my 2008. Good moments, that is.

Chinese New Year was great this year. My brother was here but we didn't take a family photo. Grr. I like family reunions :) My brother's coming back next week (excited!) and I probably might get to grab a bite at KIA's McD again. Haha. But there's not much to be excited about next year's CNY cos' my family's not really celebrating due to a recent death in our family. I don't really know how the pantang goes.. but one thing's for sure- there will be food.

CNY 2008- with great-grandmother. She called me 'si-pon' once when I was young, but not anymore I think. Everyone calls me 'e-bon', 'e-von' or 'von' now. ;)

I finally got a new violin in February. Bye-bye to beginner violin and hello to 'higher grade' violin, as they call it. Students have to upgrade their violin when they reach a certain stage. It's beautiful it makes me drool but I won't and can't because I don't wanna spoil my baby. haha. Eugene has an electric violin! And many other violins I bet. :P Electric violin can use the Wah-wah pedal wor.. Haha.. nevertheless Paul Dateh showed me that hip-hop tunes can be played on a normal violin.

My violin is shy and doesn't like to reveal its whole and fine body, so this is the only one I've got.
My violin is not cheap.

When I started teaching, I appreciated public holidays more than before. Public holidays aren't just holidays, they simply mean 'I don't need to work, and that's final.' You'll understand once you work..

Thanks to my school's Red Crescent, I got to sit in a fire truck/engine. Driver's seat some more! I didn't get the chance to do so during my kindy field trip to the fire station many years ago. So, we went to the BL Fire Station and did all kinds of cool stuff. It was fun! I got to slide down the pole many many times and used the hose plus we did the routine thingy. Unroll, hose the water into nothing but air, eliminate the water from the hose, roll.

Sliding down the pole... does not make you feel any sexier. Haha. It hurts a little when your arms rub against the pole. And no, of course you won't die sliding down the pole. :P

Eunice Manis Teletubbies and I.
We (including the others) went wild and crazy when they said we could get on the truck. The boys even climbed onto the top of it. We were so sakai man. Bagai rusa masuk ke kampung. The truck is so cool. Neece, I want one thank you you're so kind I can make a sentences without fullstop also.

There was an Inter-Unit Hobby Competition and we won! Yay! And we didn't know what the heck Petanque was or that such a game exists. It looks like curling though.

Lets play 'Can you spot....'

You can stand under my um-bre-lla, ella, ella, eh eh eh... I watched Marie Digby live... online. Thanks to Facebook and DeepRockDrive. It's free, you can send messages to the artiste live, vote for the next song and blow kisses, hug, clap, whistle, cry (virtually). It's just amazing watching her play/sing/talk live since I couldn't go to KL (there's no way I could anyway). Haha.

Sings: I've put a spell over you..

How can I not include Choir as one of the things that made my year. It was a great experience and indeed fun. I bonded. I learned that I don't have to have a voice like Leona, Mariah or Whitney to be able to sing in a choir, because I certainly don't have voices like theirs. I sing in my room and in the shower for goodness sake. Haha.

Discipline was as equally important as not-losing-your-voice, otherwise we'll be just like Amy Winehouse- can sing, but got issues o.O  All there is to be done to continue the 'Sng Siblings Tradition' is for my younger brother to join the Choir. And I wonder when that will be ...

For this one, let's play 'Spot The Lau Sisters'. haha.
Look at all the happy faces.. *nostalgic*
I miss Choir.

It would not be right if the next one is missing from this post. Coming up... one of the proudest moment in 2008! Can you guess without scrolling or peeping? Oh shit, you saw it.. Haha.

Needs no elaboration. If I elaborate, it would be 2020 and Malaysia would be..(in 15 words or less)
It was simply amazing. Good times, good times :)

I didn't have a big helluva party for my birthday this year. In fact, I sang 'Happy Birthday' to myself, by myself. Sad, isn't it? But still, I'm grateful to be alive and to have wonderful people in my life. Plus, she replied me. On my birthday. She, the one below. Oh yes. :D I was over the moon, still am.

They (you know who you are :D) got me this. Original, thank you. Haha.
I bet Eunice put a lot of thought into wrapping the present loh. Got guessing game some more.. haha

Here's the cow working what its momma gave it. *shakes booty*

What is 2008 without the Olympics. Those times I spent in front if the tv.. I can't remember. Too many events. :P

Yelena Isinbaeva~ This, I remember. I missed the medal ceremony! =(
Oh, and the boys talking bout hot girls from the Olympics in class *coughNASTIALIUKINcough*

I was in Form 5 this year and *blink* now I'm not anymore. I'm like ... school-less. I can't call myself a BL student, I'm an ex-student! :( My first impression of BL when I first stepped into my Form 1 class was "WTH you expect me to study in this environment? Lousy chairs and tables, etc...." I got used to it and things are not as lousy as it was back then anymore. Now, we have toilet bowls, doors and a flush handle (we had this, I'm kidding) but the water supply is like magic. Now you have it, after recess you don't! Haha. It's true! Ask the girls.

I like my school... ok lah, love my school. LOVE. What? What other schools can I like/love? I don't have that special bond with other schools that exists between me and BL. So, sorry to you other schools. Haha. I had an interesting secondary school life.

Other classes think we're (5A) so the very kuai to the extreme. Uek.
Heck no, we aren't. We just put up a show for the teachers during class and expect them to believe that we're innocent and studious. Haha. Ok, actually they already know that we're not all very well-behaved. It's just you, other students out there that think so.
So, stop stereotyping us (before I make a YouTube account with that purpose XP)

This is my class. It's actually last year's photo but it's still the same lah.
I miss school. :'(

WTH I didn't buy this year's school magazine?!?! According to the name list at the Koperasi that is. Like that loh.. Angry loh. My last year in school and I don't have the school mag. Pft.

When I leave BL, I shall be known as ... (refer to picture)

At Eunice's (unofficially our class diva but hates the oh so retarded things one *eh i remember. haha*) on Christmas-
WY: Eh, what movie did we watch that we thought of Yvonne ah? *thinks hard*  ....Oh ya, BOLT. She's like the cat. When she say something can feel so kek tiok *touches his heart*..

*laughed. more funny moments. laughed again. and again*

I haven't watched Bolt. DVD please and thank you. Oh Neece, remember your water bottle incident? It was my off day so it wasn't me. Haha.

There's one more thing I need to do before 2008 ends.. Change my DiGi call plan. I must be the only DiGi user who's still using Powerpack. pft.
