3rd Night

I've had a very long day and it's only the 3rd day of CNY. I went visiting with friends, many of them. Updates on that some other time.

I just finished watching Slumdog Millionaire.

I don't know. Sometimes I watch movies just because they've got excellent reviews from critics. And I haven't finished Atonement. Pft.

My goodness the kids who played the youngest version of the characters are good! And on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, they said the kids were from the slums with no acting experience whatsoever but since the movie, they're now in school thanks to Danny Boyle. Good on you, mate! 

I started watching this morning around 2am (I'm crazy, I know that) and I didn't know where to pause it. With 30 minutes of the movie left, I decided to go to bed. It was interesting mah.. 

"Can he answer the question? Is he gonna win? Will they ever find each other again? Is someone going to die? What's gonna happen after this scene? Hmmm.." 

The soundtracks are nice too. They weren't annoying or anything. So did Jamal win? I'm not telling. However, I can tell you that you can watch Dev Patel dance at the end. Who knew eh? Haha. Well, I didn't.

Tomorrow's CNY, so Happy Chinese New Year!! I think Eunice is gonna get me a Tiger this year =P

I went to tHe Spring today to do some (very) last minute shopping. And guess who I bumped into. Wait, they saw me first. Anyway, it was Eunice, Rachel and WY! Oh my I have to ask: How many times have you gone to tHe Spring post-SPM? You don't even work there.. Haha. 

I also saw the famous Lau Sisters. :)

Today is the 19th right? Ok.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, FAUSTINE LAU :D

The title.. haha. That hotdog store.

I'm pretty close to getting my 'LDL'. I know, I know.. who hasn't? Haha. I went for the 2nd talk on Saturday, I don't know what it's called and I don't even bother what it's called. It's 3 hours long and a waste of time. My dad could have told me the things that I've been told at the talk that day. The speaker repeated what he said quite a number of times. FYI, it's not even 3 hours. KENA BULAK EH. 

After talking for about an hour, the speaker let us off for a 30-minute break which then turned out to be ONE HOUR because I don't know why. My friends and I went back in to the room to sit because there was nothing to do outside the room and some people were smoking. Another FYI here, the so-called 'Bilik Pengajar' is actually a 'Bilik Merokok'. Haha. The room was so cold. We thought the speaker would come back in 30 minutes but noooooooooooo.. We sat in the room, waited and watched the minute hand of the wall clock made a 360 degrees turn. I wasn't 'smart' enough that day to bring along something to read, an MP4 or whatever to kill time =( so hug me.. 

I saw some familiar faces at the talk too. =)

This will give you some laughs.. or not. Come one, people. Laughing is good =D The 2nd last one is funny.. haha.

Azrin's in Melbourne. She missed her National Service. Apalah .. haha. Oh Azrin, we need to meet up! Come to Kuching, stay at Kasyah's. Ganti tempat Kasyah dalam rumah =D

I can't go on like this. Sleeping late :P Help?

You can only imagine the truth

I'm half-way through Atonement. I don't know why I can't just pick a time and finish watching a movie at one go. I watch before I sleep which is like really late.

The beginning of the movie=interesting. Suspense lah! Haha. Then I stopped watching when it got to the part where James McAvoy's character is wandering around some place and I went to bed. I didn't read the movie synopsis so I don't know how it ended, and I don't plan to look it up on the internet either. And oh, Keira is gorgeous but she's so thin in that movie! If Britney is penne, Keira is like one spaghetti noodle (uncooked). :-O Never mind. 

Now go Google her up if you can't help yourself. =P

I'm a movie geek, not really.

The 2009 school term started yesterday and what a day it was, eh? Haha. Not that I would know.. It felt a little weird waking up late and staying home on a school day. However, I like it so no complaints here :) 

I still haven't decided on my higher education yet but the day will come soon, I hope. I guess I'll just be at home watching tv, going online, playing piano, eat, sleep, etc at the moment. CNY is in like 3 weeks and my brother will be back pretty soon. The atmosphere in my house is gonna change and lets hope it's a good one. Haha. 

I had a two-movie marathon yesterday afternoon. I finished watching Schindler's List. It's a 1993 movie and I watched it 16 years later. Wow, Steven Spielberg must have been pretty young then. Haha. The movie is 3 hours++ long, man. my bumbum =P It's a movie about the Holocaust and it's in black and white. The only colour you get is one little girl's red dress (she only appears for about a total of 1 minute or less throughout the entire movie) and at the very end of the movie.

Oskar Schindler was a member of the Nazi party, by the way. It's a very interesting and touching story. There's one thing though.. ah never mind. Haha. 

I also watched Music and Lyrics. The song Way Back Into Love is catchy now it's stuck in my head and I've found the manuscript online which is now on my desktop =)  *cues music and shakes hips* om shanti shanti... my Buddha's delight.. HAHAHA. That was weird and funny at the same time. I bet Azrin will shit in her pants when she hears Cora Corman's 'spiced up' version of Way Back Into Love. Haha.

Happy Birthday to my dear younger brother who turns 14 today! Wow, you're growing up. You used to be cute when you were little but I don't think that word is appropriate now. Haha. (you giant =P thanks, now I'm the shortest in our family.)

His birthday is today and often times he celebrates by going to school. Coincidentally school reopens that day loh. But lucky for him, not this year.
