My History Teacher Has A New Look

Yes. He shaved his moustache.

Last Saturday was the ER'08 concert, held at the Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre or I would like to call that place ACS. I'm glad I went. It was great despite being tired after a really long day.

My ER08 ticket.

Oh well, it's almost 930pm and I wanna watch Ugly Betty. So I'll be postponing my post on the ER concert+pics till..next time? haha.

Here's a random post.

So last Thursday my class was playing hang-man for 2 periods during English cos' all of us looked so tired, confused, spiritless.. we didn't want to do summary so we all decided to play. We chose Hang-man. muahahaha. *clears throat*.

It was my group's turn to come up with a name of a capital of a country or a major city. I went to William's place at the back of the class and discussed some names. I thought of writing the 'potential' names down on a paper so I just went to my desk and grabbed my add maths work paper. It was still quite empty then. At the end of that round, I asked William:

Me: hey, where's my paper?
Will: (held up his hand and showed me a paper, rolled perfectly into a ball)
Me: That's my add math!

He didn't know it was my add math, he apologised. It was funny though. haha. Seeing add math crushed into a ball... haha. After that I opened up my paper and tried to straighten it but nooo, it was all crinkled up to a point where it exceeded its 'crinkle limit' and can never be straighten again. It was so crinkled, wrinkled, like the skin on my grandma's arm.. Wait, worse!

Compare it to my question paper, bottom left.

I ended up using both sides of the paper to solve my add math questions. You see, I do not judge my papers... :P

Semester exam is next Saturday! I know, friggin' Saturday! I really have to start studying like there's no tomorrow. I even made Joan write a sticky-note for me as a reminder. haha.

She's such a motivator :P

N-Tertained

Last night I was sms-ing Neece. I got bored so I asked her some questions to see if she was using her brains last night. I heard this question somewhere... it goes something like this:

Q: What mouse walks on two legs?
(After some long and deep thought she replied...)
A: Comp mouse?

Seriously? haha. I felt like throwing my phone at her but of course I'll never do such a thing cos' I love her.. I mean I love my phone, I LOVE MY PHONE :D sigh, that was a slip of tongue like when Neece asked her maid, "Ada orang datang potong rambut kah?" when she was trying to ask "ada orang datang potong RUMPUT?" So I told her 'computer mouse' wasn't the answer.. She said 'oh they don't have legs!' before answering MICKEY MOUSE. haha. She's not nocturnal neither does she put herself to 'standby' or 'sleep' or 'snooze' mode at 9-10 something at night so, forgive her. haha.

Q: What duck walks on two legs?
A: Donald duck

After Mickey, the names-Donald ,Goofy, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto and Mickey's other friends come to your mind. When I say Paris, you say Hilton. When I say Jack Black, you go Jack White. Haha.. that was lame. Jack White is from White Stripes, right? Neece, I don't have any intention to make fun of you but... it was funny ok! computer mouse? haha.

My dad brought back a Nokia N82 yesterday. The heart-aching thing about it is that he 'gave' it to my younger brother for him to use. That's just unfair, such an expensive wonder in the hands of a 13-y/o. He just got a DSC-T70 a few months ago what.. haha. Lets just hope we can take turns using it. :D I don't know what's the black one in the picture below. Rediscover storytelling with N82.. so complex, big and beautiful. haha.

ALL DUCKS HAVE TWO LEGS/FEET.

Sin Cos Tan

Monologue: Tuesday, hot,cloudy afternoon .......

It's Tuesday! April! Oh no... it's getting closer and closer to SPM and 1st semester exam is less than 4 weeks away. 10 subjects, TONS of chapters and stuff to memorise, learn, etc.

Today, my class had like 5 'free periods'.. that's 5/9 periods in a day. So we only had 4 periods and 3 subjects going on as usual. First, there was no teacher to teach us or give us back our test papers during Chemistry (a substitute was suppose to fill in for my Chem teacher today but no one showed up), 2 periods of BM at the library doing our own work/read and my English teacher wasn't here to day.

I had my Add Math paper back today and I think I made a history of my own in 'Yvonne's Add Math Life' by scoring 39/40. .. !!!! And where did I lose that (stoo-peed) 1 mark?? One of my steps in Intergration was wrong cos' I didn't take out the intergration sign and put the maximum and minimum values outside the bracket.. ugh.. I could have gotten a 100%, FYI I think I only got A once in Add Math and it was early last year. After that I never even got close to an A2, or sometimes B3. Honestly, this monthly test's Add Math paper was .. easy. When I say EASY I mean that it's not as challenging, difficult, brain-twisting, mind crushing as the exercises my teacher normally gives. I usually can't get the answers of most of my Add Math exercised and will often ask my friends for the solutions. At times I would think that it's too hard and I can't do it and so I didn't even bother to do my homework, and that was what happened to me in my previous 2 chapters. I was so tired and fed up. Then, this test came and I could figure everything out by MYSELF. It was a miracle. haha. Maybe it was Someone's way of saying, "See, you CAN do Add Math." I was so happy when I finished the paper.

Guess what? what? I did my Add Math homework yesterday! Am I not a good girl? haha. I'm starting to find it interesting though confusing. Like today, teacher gave use like.. I don't know how many formulae for Sin, Cos, Tan tita A B whatever. At one point when my teacher was explaining to the class on how to derive the Sin formula from the triangle I was like, what?!

Me: What is that?
Joan: I don't know

Then I just continued copying whatever my teacher wrote on the blackboard hoping I'd understand it when I go home and read it.

Nope. I start giggling by myself cos' I didn't understand what and why she wrote all those letter and numbers and I don't know where she got it from.

Me: What is teacher writing?! (giggles)
Joan: Dont' know! Just copy nia...

So I'd figure, just MEMORISE THE FORMULAE and don't worry about that triangle.

That was how my Add Math period went today.

Birthdays, not mine.

My blog has been quiet and shall I say, 'dead' for the past few weeks. Maybe because it's moody and upset 'cause I forgot to wish it 'Happy Birthday'.

Quite a number of people I know namely Belle, Neece's blogs turned 1 in March and yes, so did mine. So..

'Happy (Belated) 1st Birthday to my blog!'

Last year's birthday cake. yummy.

A card I made for someone's b'day last year. Words done by Sammy, dear.

Time flies.
