A Dedication

To my brother.

I read your post about our family thingy and that kinda inspired me to do this post. Though it's late and I have to be at St. Peter's before 8am tomorrow. What the heck. Allow me to write about you and maybe reminisce :D

You went overseas when I was still in Form 3, what, almost 2 years ago? I thought I'd never survive in Kuching without a brother whom I can turn to for help and many other things.. Simply because I've always had you around until that time when you went overseas. Well, I guessed I managed to survive..? Lol. Yeah, when you left the house was quiet and there was one less person. The first few weeks were awkward but we're use to it now. We miss you back here.

Here is where I say things I'd don't think I'd say in front of you.

Did you know you're my role model? Haha. Hard to believe, no? Well, I've looked up to you and had been amazed by the things you do. For example, the untimely and unfortunate incident which happened to you like a month before your SPM. You had a puncture in one of your lungs which only God knows what really happened. Might have been caused by those wrestling moments you had with Eric. tee-hee. Despite the fact that you had a long tube inserted into your right lung and had to stay at the hospital and you actually moved from Kuching Specialist to GH
but you still did your revision and exercises during your stay there. I still remember that evening when dad picked me up from school and told me you were admitted to the hospital. I was like WHAT?! I wonder how did you take your showers when you had that tube attached to your side and you had to bring this tiang to the bathroom with you. And oh, I also remembered you teaching us (Eric and I) how to use that clamp thingy to clamp the tube, and you had that breathing tube which is now in your drawer at home. Not forgetting that funky device you used after your operation. Haha.

Funky device.

And........ you scored a not-so-bad result in SPM! :D FYI, I did a piece on Pneumothorax for my English oral last year. Haha.

You were in the school choir. I've always wanted to join, and this year I did although I wasn't part of the (REAL) choir which was involved in competitions. And I texted you just to tell you I was in the choir, just to see what you'd think about it. Like a typical older brother, I thought you would tease and mock me. "You? Choir? *evil laugh*". But you didn't. Thank you. I am proud to be in the choir, just like you, a part of the choir. It IS F-U-N.

I truly miss those times when you play with Eric and I, let it be badminton, soccer, Monopoly, FIFA, PES, killing mosquitoes in the backyard, etc. Sometimes I wonder if we're ever gonna do those things together again. I know you'd rather play computer games with Eric because he's better.. but I know you'd rather play violin with me cos' he can't. Haha. When you came back from NZ last year, your laptop was switched on like the whole day every day. If you weren't using the Internet, we'd play games. You taught us how to 'fly' and aeroplane and 'land' it. It was funny, especially when someone (so gundu/noob at Flight Simulator) like me crash the plane cos' I didn't know how to land properly. Haha. And when you went to NZ again, I started to bring the modem up to my room and use the Internet up here. Thanks to youuhhhh. Haha.

Us playing PES when you were home.

You and little Alister/Alistair (not sure how to spell his name)

Thank you for driving me here and there and everywhere I asked you to when you were back.
ps: I told mom and dad you were speeding that one time. haha. Nah.. I don't think they mind much cos' they still let you drive when you were back.

One of the most biggest influence you had on me was supporting Liverpool. Though I do not watch football as much as I was when you were here but I keep myself updated when I can. Well, i think now Eric is becoming more like you. He's watching football, Sports Center sometimes, Mythbusters, Air Crash Investigations.. Haha. Dad caught him red-handed watching UEFA Champions League final between Man U and Chelsea early in the morning and dad asked him to go back to sleep.. haha. See what you've done to him? LOL.

Kel, You and Ching.

Come back soon. Don't be a full-time Kiwi. Haha.

Remember that time when Kel, you and I went laser tag-ing? He almost got us into some serious injuries or maybe worse but God was with us, right? When were running around in the 'battlefield', you knocked into me. Since the time of impact was so short, it created a large impulsive force and I fell to the ground flat on my arse. Oh was I not happy because we were playing 1-On-1 and I thought you would take the advantage and shoot me when I fell but you didn't. You laughed and you said sorry sorry sorry sorry. Haha.

I shot you instead :D

Laser tag

It's sad that Eric was in school and he couldn't send you off.

Come back soon :)

Thank you for the flower-printed shorts you gave me because your luggage was too full. Haha.
Thank you for that funky shirt you bought from Thailand which had funny wordings. No, I have not worn the 'I THINK SHE'S LESBIAN *arrow points to one direction*' shirt. I might get beat up by one of 'them' people. Haha. Thank you also for the Liverpool jersey. Every fan should own one. :D

So, what are the things you've done in NZ without mehh? Erm.. like skiing for the gazillion billionth time? Haha. Save some money to bring me go skiing next time larh.. :P

Like going bungee-jumping.... Twice! Look who's got the AJ Hackett shirt now? Me. Lol.

Sheep with fluffy bum. 100% mutton :P

Like, going on a road trip, picking strawberries and even bonding with farm animals for example in the photo above.

You have changed a lot, pyshically, since you went to NZ. You've definitely gained weight. You were skinny and all bones and the eat-so-the-very-much-but-won't-get-fat type before you went. And now you've gotten fleshy and people can actually hug you now. Haha. Pn Luk asked me last time, "How's Eugene?" I said, "Got meat liao.." She answered, "Aiyoh, like that not handsome lorh..*tease*"

This is you, before:
