At Least I Enjoyed What I Did

I don't know. I think I just had the best PE period of the year.. well, Last week's treasure hunt was nice but I wasn't playing, was helping out.

Today was scheduled for dance but I saw some playing basketball and William was kicking a ball while I was making my way towards Pondok B. So, I decided to join the boys for football. haha.. I haven't played it for a long time and today, I had fun all right. I was running, well not really running up and down the court but I perspired! -more today than on any other PE lesson. Kicking the ball felt good. It's kinda like kicking it and letting out that angry feeling at the same time.. haha

"Darn football, lemme kick you!"
Something like that.. :P Gee, some Form 6 boys were watching us play and they were annoying to me though. Cheering stuff like "Eh amoi bla bla.." I didn't like that, coming from them. Sounded more like .. teasing? lol. So what if I'm a girl? I just wanna play some soccer. . But.. I won't really mind if my boy friends teased me that way. cause I know who they are and their intentions. They're fun, funny and fun. :) I love those boys.. haha. Oh come one, I love my friends.

In the end, my team won 4-2.. or was it 4-1.. haha. In conclusion, we won. William, Nazwan aka Legolas-san, jeremy, samuel and I were on the winning team, beating Wei Yei and Co. (Dennis, Bernard, Nate, Ambrose).. No ugly fight scenes or whatsoever. It was a clean, good game overall. Now my shoes look like.. almost look like chocolate brownies. :P I was on my way back to class after PE lesson ended and I bumped into Melvin.. He said something and it made me laughed cause he IS funny. He can't make a 'not funny' expression on his face. So he said this: "You look like a tomato." haha... I'd laugh everytime think of that.. Well, my face was all blushed up, pinkish-reddish cause I've been playing.. you get the picture, right?

Oh, how running around the basketball court made me feel like a 5 year-old girl again.. lol. Sighs..

I Carry Your Heart

I Carry Your Heart With Me
by E.E. Cummings

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart)

i am never without it (anywhere i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet)
i want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)
Another poem from 'In Her Shoes'.

Try to find time for fun. Cheers mate.

One Art

I watched 'In Her Shoes' last night and there were poems in it. I thought why not share it with everyone :)

One Art

The art of losing isn't hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent
to be lost that their loss is no disaster.

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.

Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.

I lost my mother's watch. And look! my last, or
next-to-last, of three loved houses went.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.

I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster,
some realms I owned, two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster.

---Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture
I love) I shan't have lied. It's evident
the art of losing's not too hard to master
though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster.

Deep Poop

I'm in deep shi*. haha. Morale project is due on Wednesday, today's Monday and I haven't written anything yet. I've planned a schedule for me to follow in this 11th hour but I don't follow it. What a waste of time. I shouldn't be here either. But, how can I resist internet? haha.

A little prayer:
O God, please help me. I'm so lost and I can't think straight.
I pray for your blessings.
Amen.

A Different Kind of Sunday

A scene from Sunday morning. That's EC's stall right there, across your face! Lol.

My church had a food fair/parish sale over the weekends. I was a part of it for the first time under the EC, a part of it as in 'helping out'.. haha. As usual, I was supposed to leave my house around 730am as I planned to but being the girl that I am, I always end up leaving later than planned.

"Women aren't always late. It's just that things start so early."

So I left around 10 minutes before 8. My place is less than 10 minutes drive away from church and I was suppose to be there before 8. Now...I don't remember what time I reached church but it doesn't matter anyway. haha. Stepped outta the car, my glasses were blurry so I took 'em off and went to search for my friends. Luckily I went in the right direction. :P After that, everyone 'kui kang' lo. EC set up a game stall. Darts, guns.. wow. Sure got the boys high. Lol. kidding. I don't how else to describe that morning.. it was hot, kinda crowded.. some parts were funny.

Lucky draw for a remote controlled helicopter. Only RM2!

Note: I didn't crop the top, it's the roof :P
Marching to promote.

I went to attend mass at 10am and at around 956am, I went to play the darts game. Thanks to a kind little girl who spared me a coupon so that I could have a taste of throwing darts at koi fishes. Fake ones of course. The fish were printed, just like a portrait lar.. So, I got to pick 2 prizes 'cause I won 2 prizes .. (?) lol.. I gave one to the little girl and I kept one for myself. haha.. I felt mean for not giving her the toy. haha.. oh well, she had one already.. oh man, I'm such a 'lau gu'. I am, kinda. When mass ended, I went back out (of the church) .. As Father Chua drawed for the lucky, REALLY LUCKY winners of 6 quite good-looking and beautiful guitars, Lovelyn, Monica and I were waiting anxiously near that place where Father was, hoping AT LEAST one of us won.. haha. Right. None of us kena, Monica's number was so close! Only 3 numbers away. Hers was 396 and the draw was 393. 'LONG PIAK AR!'

The Sunday School's stall. No mistake, that's Grace, Simon, Sophia (partially hidden) and Natasha.

Went back at 12 something, ate lunch and hamplang myself onto my bed.. Zzzz till 5.
So many friggin' projects and homework. Teachers, give us a break lah.. I haven't done my add maths homework for 3 weeks if I'm not mistaken and now there's an add maths project. Apuuuuuuu...

Game Day

Oh well. Today, my school had a friendly match with SMK Petra Jaya. Woke up early because teacher said the bus was gonna leave at 0730 hours. I reached school and the netball team as there already but the basketball and futsal team weren't there yet. So I thought, "we're not gonna leave at 730 are we?" Some players didn't bring their forms and so we had to wait for them to fill it in before could leave.

The bus left at almost 8. BAS PEKERJA some more. No air-conditioner, so I opened the window and oh I smelled the 'fresh' air of the sunny Saturday morning in Kuching. Carbon monoxide everywhere. The sun was in my face.. hot man.

When we reached the other school, we (badminton, netball, bball, futsal + teachers) were given a short briefing about th day's programme. The badminton peeps were left alone in the hall while the others get to have fun outdoors, under the sun, filled with cheers while they played. I was in the badminton team with Florence, Wei Yei, Gab, Jeff and Jason. The boys played first, their doubles while we girls waited for our opponents to arrive. Sadly, they didnt come and we just .. didn't play against them. Disappointed, kind of. I went to see the futsal match/bball game. Man it was tight. They kept it cool.. and someone tripped Churchill I suppose. He just fell and when his game ended he came to the hall with his right knee bleeding. Two wounds.. As usual, I supplied tissue paper. :P The game was so quick you had to hold your breath at some point. haha.

SMK BL won netball 26-4, they said. We won bball too. 40 something to something less than our score.. haha. I can see that they had fun.. Well, at least that's what I thought. Who wouldn't, after winning? Futsal, we won too. 5 goals to 3.

When I went back to the hall it was 3-3, when I came back, 5-3. I missed two goals! Argh. The bball match finished last. Overall, according us BL students, we declared our victory by winning all 4 events because for badminton, the girls from the other school didnt come so the girl's singles and doubles were considered walk-overs. Although we lost boy's singles and one boy's doubles, we still won 3-2. But........ (saying it with bio teacher's tone), I heard a few SMK PJ boys said that they lost eveyrthing but badminton. Hello? Your girl's walked-over.. ? Yeah, whatsoever.. It was just a 'friendly'. According to some of us, some of them weren't so friendly. It was a 'friendly' and however, students like us just love winning no matter what. =) =)

It's nice to see so many students gather to play games. It's fun. Lol.
